Absolutely atrocious conditions at the moment. Winds are at 40 mph, gusting to 63 mph in the north of the island. The ferry is currently sheltering down the coast because conditions are too severe.
Apart from the wind, the rain is teeming down. Not nice.
You think wind and rain are normal here? Well, this is out of the ordinary, don't see this too often.

Ooh...we had terrible winds yesterday too!
ReplyDeleteIt's like a wind trap here..all I could hear last night were things smashing and breaking over the noise of the high winds. I have to say, it was VERY unexpected!

Stay safe in all of that vicious weather.

I think we sent you our windy weather from last night Guido. Batten dow the hatches and stay snug and safe. Jeanie
ReplyDeleteWe've been having gales too, they really seem to build up speed coming up The Channel. Hope your weather calms down, I know how much you all rely on the ferry. Jeannette xx
