Australian storm
Winter storms in New South Wales, Australia, have claimed the lives of 6 people, forced the evacuation of hundreds and left more than 200,000 without electricity. A coal carrier is beached near Newcastle (NSW), with fears that its fuel tanks may rupture, prompting the release of the heavy marine fuel into the environment. More here.
