The Local Mod is on in Stornoway this week. What is the Local Mod? It is a competition for school-age children (ages 5 to 18) in aspects of Gaelic culture, such as recitation, singing and performing in ensembles. This afternoon, I attended performances in our arts centre, An Lanntair [The Lantern], and recorded some 18 performances. I'm putting the links in this entry. Please put your speakers up high, as the recording device I used wasn't very good - an MP3-player with recording capability. Hope you enjoy!

Sorry but I can't hear any of the recordings...maybe I am doing something wrong? I have turned up speakers etc. anyway it was a nice thought for you to do that for us. Enjoy the rest of the week sybilsybil45
