Krissy [fisherkristina] has had her PC hacked into. Please ignore any inappropriate or un-Krissy like emails or entries that appear to come from her.
I have emailed her the following advice, which applies to all such instances:
- notify your Internet Service Provider, in this case AOL
- notify the Police (computer hacking is like burglary, it is a CRIME)
- do not use the affected computer and line if you can help it
- conduct all AOL-related affairs through someone else's screenname or another (Internet-based) email
- do not use the screenname, and announce that it is out of use
- change all passwords that are saved on the affected computer

Usually AOL crashes the account so fast nothing goes out... thanks for the heads up though!
