This is Tropical Storm Ewiniar. She is located in the Pacific east of the Philippines and is forecast to move north and develop into a Typhoon, the Pacific equivalent of a tropical hurricane. Her windspeeds, currently at 50 knots, will increase to 125 knots by Thursday, gusting to 150 knots. Ewiniar fortunately does not look set to affect major landmasses in the days to come. By Thursday, she will be located 400 miles south of mainland Japan. Advisories are issued by the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre.
