Today is January 6, the Epiphany. The 12th day of Christmas, when all Christmas decorations should be taken down. Which is what I've been doing this morning. It's all going to the attic, to be taken down again in 11 months' time. Don't forget, it's 354 days until Christmas!

ReplyDeleteI took my decorations down the day after Christmas, it seems I have developed an allergy to live trees so I was anxious to get it out of the house. I've done some shopping already for next year.

It was pretty and an enjoyable one for you this year I hope. I counted up to Christmas with Christmas Day being the 12th one and on each day I gave my hubby a wrapped present and something I had written for him. Now I see I've gotten it backwards. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. He thought it was pretty special though and kept the tags and a bit of the pretty paper and put them into a sentimental box.
