Phyllis posted a video of a drive to her home, which reminded me I've got a fair few videos myself, which would merit another airing. I'm starting with a drive I took back in July 2007 round the district of South Lochs. This is located between 17 and 32 miles south of Stornoway by road; by boat the distance is 12 miles. I have many footsteps in that area, as I spent the winter of 2004/5 in the area, traipsing the moors in all weathers.

Hi Guido! I sure enjoyed the drive but there doesn't seem to be any trees! So different from here! Thanks for the link to Phyllis' journal. It's interesting because we've been wanting to check out property in N. Georgia! And she's a realtor. So, go figure! Anyway, I hope you're having a great weekend. Blessings, Linda
ReplyDeleteAbsolutley beautiful photos. It is a long time dream of mine to travel to the UK. Maybe someday I'll see it for myself!

Guido, what a beautiful video!! It looks like a dream compared to L.A., deserted!! LOL!!! But I noticed one of the churches in the background was full of cars... if they're gonna be anywhere at all, THAT'S the place to be. LOL!!! Thanks for the link to Phyllis's journal, going to check it out now.

I enjoyed watching this video. I love seeing other parts of the world especially when they are so unpopulated and natural. Excellent soundtrack as well.
