Rant
Can I just ask? How many of you have clicked on the AOL icon since Wednesday or Thursday of last week, to be confronted with a wee box over the AOL splash screen saying "Additional files need downloading to be able to connect to AOL" or words to that effect. Had to do that three times now, and I'm fed up with it. Last time round, AOL crashed on me (I have issues with my Java) and the blinking prompt came up again.

I've never had that one yet! No doubt AOL will get round to it once they see how annoying it is. Jeannette xx http://beta.journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
ReplyDeleteMine has been saying additional files need to be downloaded wnen I try to pull up AOL after it sits and sits and then I have to restart computer. This has been going on a couple of months ever since I went on the free AOL. I just leave my AOL on all the time now and minimize it when I want to use the explorer or play a game. I go byoa to get to AOL through cable. Helen
ReplyDeleteNo AOL problems here, other than getting kicked off occasionally. I never know whether to attribute it to AOL or my HELLISH cable connection.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week. Barb
