I am not really impressed. They don't mention the Callanish Stones. They omit to mention that there are quite a few restaurants, varying from conventional to Indian and Chinese. Ferries do not feature, even though they are very important. And you're supposed to drive everywhere, whilst the busservices are perfectly adequate for everybody's needs. Adam Nicolson's book is about the Shiants, not Harris. Need I go on? I've left a caustic comment, under this screenname.
