For those of you who think nothing really ever happens in Stornoway (not true), I'd like to refer you to my separate journal, devoted to a storm which took place on 11 November 2005. This is the nameday of St Martin, hence the journal's name: St Martin's Storm. You need to start at the last entry in the journal; don't worry, it's not very long.

Ihave just been back and watched the video footage of the ferry Muirnag ,it must have been a very frightening experiance for all concerned I read your entrys for that time ,and would never say nothing happens !!...........Jan xx
