Black Cat
Those who know me really well, will understand my fondness of black cats. To me, they are not bringers of doom. We had one in the family for 15 years, and it was an unneutered Tom. When I encountered this old pussycat along Newton Street this afternoon (Friday 11th), I couldn't stop snapping. The clock went right back to the years between 1973 and 1988...

ReplyDeleteI LOVE black cats. In fact I have 2 that own me. One of them -- Maggie -- looks a lot like the cat you have here.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that it is rare to find a completely black cat? They almost always have some white on them.
Locally they say that it is hard to adopt out black cats. And they won't let anyone adopt them around halloween.
Hard life for the poor kitties.
