Tropical Storm CHRIS

Tropical Storm CHRIS is heading for Puerto Rico and the US and British Virgin Islands. The National Hurricane Center has issued tropical storm warnings and advice for these areas on this link.

It should be noted that CHRIS will become
a hurricane late Wednesday or on Thursday. The forecasters are not finding it easy to predict the intensity of this cyclone or its path. As Florida is possibly in its path on August 7, the system should be monitored closely.

The government of Antigua has discontinued the tropical storm warnings for Antigua, Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis.
