Rainy afternoon

Just wanted to put this graphic (again from Donna) up, as it is quite appropriate with the horrible weather we're having in the UK tonight. Here in the islands it isn't TOO bad, a bit of light rain on the wind. But further south, gusts up to 60 mph are anticipated, which could cause structural damage to buildings and very hazardous travelling conditions out at sea.

I'll repeat my warning for flooding in Western Scotland and the Western Isles, and elsewhere in conjunction with high tides and high winds. The springtides will occur between 7 and 9 AM and PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (October 6, 7 and 8).
