I understand that the American Mid West has been pounded by a string of tornadoes, which have claimed at least two lives and caused extensive damage. I also note that severe winter weather has wreaked havoc on the roads. Hope all are well in that area.

They are scary looking!! I hope the folks in the Mid West are safe and sound. They experience them so often these days...I think we are fortunate these are a rare event in Britain; although we are beginning to hear more about them in recent years. Jeanie

Thank goodness we have few tornados in Phoenx, but I understand the latest one was in Colorado. This one pictured looks extremely nasty. Gerry
