Hurricane update - 3 March

Australia is now threatened by three developing tropical cyclones. Odette has formed some 500 miles east of Cairns, and does not pose a direct threat to land, other than some large swells up the Capricorn Coast.

A system north of Port Hedland is making ominous noises, and the Bureau of Meteorology is issuing warnings for another tropical disturbance off the far north Kimberly.

Things will develop further over the next day or two, so will keep an eye open.
