The chairman of the troubled Western Isles Health Board has this morning resigned his position. The Health Minister in the Scottish Executive is sending a senior management team to Stornoway to sort the Board out. I sincerely hope that the other members of the Health Board who are equally implicated in the whole sorry saga of bullying, intimidation and harassment as well as gross financial mismanagement will resign too. Methinks a wholesale clearout of the entire Board might be called for.

At last, very pleased to learn of this. Hopefully now this area of UK's mis management will hit the desk of the health personnel in Whitehall
