Typhoon Queenie is about to hit the island of Luzon in the Phillippines, and about as hard as Paeng two weeks ago. Winds of up to 150 mph are expected as it hits the provinces of Aurora and Quezon. Further updates on the PAGASA website.
Unusually, I also would like to highlight a hurricane - on the planet Saturn. This one is fixed in position near the planet's south pole and reaches heights of 20 to 45 miles in the atmosphere. An Earth hurricane reaches up to 10 miles in height and is not commonly stationary. This is a breathtaking view of the phenomenon. Read more on the BBC website.
