Severe weather

As I announced with the transcript of yesterday's inshore waters forecast for our neck of the woods, it's now blowing a gale - see image below.



The ferry did not sail this morning, as a force 9 gale is expected. At the moment, we're on force 7. The wind began to pick up as I went out for my late night walk last night, and by 1 am, 90 minutes later, it was buffeting the windows.

Other ferries have been cancelled in the Western Isles as well.
