AOHell

Not happy with the AOL service these days. Following an upgrade to Firefox, I cannot upload pictures, have to use blinking Internet Explorer which I dislike. Worse than that, I get alerts for posts made on February 27th today, March 1st. What a load of ****.

  4. No not happy with the service from Aol and have not been for a few weeks now.  They cannot seem to put any of the problems right, they do not seem to know what to do about anything.  I remember not all that long ago, you could go to your journal, add pictures through File Manager, type your piece press save and that was it.  Now you go to your journal to find the buttons are not there.  File Manager does not work. So you go to Photobucket or something similar and put your graphics there.  Then you have to open Firefox (which I am not going to use if I can help it because it is not secure). You manage to open your journal that way, then back into Photobucket to copy and paste the HTML codes.  It is all too complicated and far too much hassle these days and not the pleasure it used to be.  I am seriously wondering whether to continue.  Complaints to Joe seem to go nowhere and Stephanie is the same.

  5. Not so long ago I was getting duplicate and triplicate alerts mainly from your site Guido.  Once over I got them dating back to January through February one after the other.  It was annoying but they seem to have stopped now.  I turned off my alerts whilst I was away over half term.  Now I don't get alerts from you Guido even though I have turned them back on again. I'm glad I kept your original thread on my journal as I need my regular fix from Stornoway. I too also lost my buttons for editing and posting but it was just temporary.  Thank goodness!
I hope AOL sorts itself out soon.   Jeanie

  9. I've had some issues with AOL that have me wanting to toss the laptop out the window. I hope things are fixed soon, and as awful as it sounds, I'm glad to see your having problems as well. Makes me feel not so much the nutcase:o)

  11. Well, I did get a laugh out of this graphic graphic.  I hope that was intended.  I did not have this trouble when I updated. I don't know why, but I am still trying to read the teeny tiny print it causes Gerry
