Sleep Well Sweet Prince.
I too am sorry to hear this news RIP John ...love Jan xx
ReplyDeleteOh! It seems that all our good character actors are disappearing for an audience with God. I liked John and enjoyed his camp 'mincing' character in 'Are you being Served'. Gone now....but not forgotten. God Bless him. Jeanie
ReplyDeleteI always enjoyed the subtle humor of Are you being served.....I still catch reruns of the show from time to time. At the very least he can say his image is forever immotalized in the shows his acted in. This is indeed a sad loss.(Hugs) Indigo
ReplyDeleteThat is really sad, I heard he went into hospital the other day but I didn`t realise it was that serious.

Oh, I remember him. I don't know who I like the best English or American comics. doc has introduced me to every comic I didn't know on earth. Now we have to watch Sorry every week and Tim Corbett, and of course he lovcs Monty Python and showed me the Life of Brian for the first time. I gasped. I could not imagine how they got away with it. Never in America. But I enjoyed every minute of it. Gerry
ReplyDeleteOh how sad.... We watch this show still on PBS... He is so funny!!
ReplyDeleteLinda :(
I hadn't heard that he died. Thanks for letting us know. I really enjoyed him in that show, and still watch reruns on PBS.
