Earlier today, at 7pm local time, seven bombs ripped through trains on the Mumbai (formerly Bombay) Train network. Dozens of people are reported killed and hundreds injured. This comes hard on the heels of the first anniversary of the attacks on the London Underground.
I would like to express my support to the victims, sympathies to the relatives and friends of those who lost their lives. Although I have no connections with India, terrorism has no place anywhere, and its impact is universal.
I have been looking at news reports of this ,and agree with your comments....Jan xx
ReplyDeleteThere is just no excuse for these barbaric crimes. When will people learn to live in peace? Jeannette xx
ReplyDeleteI haven't even heard of this yet. Just got home from working all day. I have no patience for these evil EVIL people who do these things. I just don't understand what they are thinking??

Dear Guido,
ReplyDeletehi!
I am reading this after the fact.. and I saw a speaker form India today on CNN decrying our lack of interest and coverage on this event. Do you think you saw a lot of news on it? I do not think that it was as largely covered in the US.
Yes very horrible.
