And this time it has a bearing on the souring of the VIVI awards, with the resignation of Donna [nightmaremom] on account of negative feedback. Am disgusted that people are being treated in such a way, for a relatively minor thing like the VIVIs. Anyways, found that mmartinez07 wrote an excellent entry, which should hopefully buck up spirits in some parts of J-land. It is entitled: Why people criticise. And for God's sake, keep this lark in perspective, will ya?

ReplyDeleteI don't think some of these people are playing with a full deck.Either that or they get up on the wrong side of the bed and hit their head on the wall.Come on people,the awards are not a popularity contest.We are just wanting to showcase other peoples journals,get to read some we otherwise would know nothing about.And come on- no-one is going to strut around with a tiara perched ontop of their lovely coifs.If you don't think the whole thing is fair then I don't see why you would even bother looking at what you're bitching about.Don't take this whole thing seriously,or personally.
You aren't in high school being left out of the popular girls click.The word for the day is f-u-n,that's all.Grow -up- get-a life or stay the hell out of the way so others can....
