Typhoon Xangsane is located at
12.2N 126.2E with windspeeds of 65 knots and is moving west towards
Luzon Philippines. The system will pass within 20 miles of Manila with winds of 65
to 70 kts, then transfer into the East China Sea. Xangsane will
intensify to 90 kts and make landfall near Hue, Vietnam, on October 1st
on that strength.
