Right, enough is enough. It's half past midnight, the wind is howling outside (force 7 tonight) and it's been a busy day. I'm still days behind with the diary entries, but news-related items do get through, so it's just my trips to Somerfields, ambles into the countryside and reports on the meals by the unsurpassable mrs B that you're missing out on.
Hope all are well, and to those in the eastern USA one piece of advice:
If you see your way blocked by floods, please do NOT try to drive through it. You can't see the road, you can't see any ditches, it's filthy, and if your vehicle gives up the ghost you're all the closer to following it suit.
