Accident in Glen Nevis - update

I am saddened to report that the little girl who fell in the upper reaches of Glen Nevis yesterday evening was found to have died at the scene. Her mother (47) and sisters, aged 14 and 16, are said to be devastated.

The Mountain Rescue Service is reminding people of the dangers of the area, where the path crosses wet, slabbed rocks and streams in steeply angled terrain.

    That's so sad Guido, the poor soul. Seems like such a tragic waste of life that could have been prevented. Jeannette xx
