    That would have not been a good enough excuse where I retired from.  It would have been an unexcused absence, because if you were more than 10 minutes late it was a double "black mark."  A tardy and an absence (even if you showed up~you were still given an absence after 10 minutes.)  What a fun place to work!  Linda in rainy, windy Washington state  http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1960/LindasWorld/
