I have to say that it is nice to be able to hear the voices and see the faces of the journalers in the chatroom - Jeannette (jeanno43) and Yasmin (cayasm) being the most prominent so far. Unfortunately, it is company policy with me not to show face nor voice on the Net, although I may change my mind to a certain extent. Later tonight, you may hear me playing the keyboard.
Off to the chili con carne with sliced peaches and rice. Anybody hungry?

I don't usually visit Chat Rooms, as I'm too slow typing. I'm not set up to show my face or voice. I did hop by the Chat Room a couple of times, just to lurk, but no one was there.

Hearing you play the keyboard would be delightful ~ I hope I catch you on later. I would love to hear the story of the seagull you mentioned, he sounds awfully clever :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your lunch, or I guess with the time difference it may be dinner.

I have never tried chili con carne with peaches. I tend to eat my peaches separate from any chili. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, didn't realize that this new chatroom included chances to see and hear people, also! Well, with proper equipment on every end.
Tinkle those ivories, Guido!
Cool! I haven't tried it yet....I might now! :o)

So how does the chat work? Do people use voice chat only? If so what kind of program do you need and I would suppose you would need a mic to talk on. And you mentioned seeing peoples faces....is this chat thing done on web cam? I'm sorry I'm so very uninformed.....June
ReplyDeleteOMG... I am hungry now! lol
