It would seem the seasons are changing all over the world. Sad. We have very strong winds here today and gale force are forecast for tomorrow. What happened to the days of mellow mists? We had a very short Autumn here as well.

That is a good one (especially as it's rather hit or miss whether someone living in Augusta, Maine, would even HAVE air conditioning, although I know more places in the southern parts of Maine have it then then did years ago).
I LOVE that photo:)
And, yeah, I have fond memories of fall, espeically in New England...........
Sigh.
Even winter is anticipated, near me, to have a 40% chance of warmer than average (or some similar wording), this year.
Gosh what a beautiful picture. It's looking less like autumn here all the time. Most of the deciduous trees are almost bare. It's in the mid 40's here this morning and raining lightly. Linda in Washington state
Beautiful picture! Someone must of forgotten to tell the trees here this past few months that Autumn was cancelled. The above picture is pretty much what Fall looked like here in NY. (Hugs) Indigo
Wow that is a great picture!! our temps are unseasonably high now but all the leaves have already fallen off the trees when usually they don't even start changing til thanksgiving..... Linda :)

This would be even funnier than it already is, if it weren't so close to the truth!
