I was alerted to this forthcoming movie. I'm anything but a film buff - the only films I've been to watch in the last six years were The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Fahrenheit 9/11.
However, the Golden Compass, starring Nicole Kidman, has stirred up some controversy prior to its release. I can only recommend you read the link from Snopes and make up your own mind.

Yes I got an email about that from June. I've sent it out to all in my address book with kids & grandkids. I'm disappointed in Nicole Kidman, a mother herself, that should would participate in this film. Linda in Washington state

ReplyDeleteI didn't like what I read so sent it off to those in my address book who might be able to take avoidance of this film and the books when they come out.
