Anyone feeling cold?

Spare a thought for the people of Omyakon in Siberia. This month, January, they have had to endure temperatures varying between -40 and -60C. 1. The coldest I've EVER felt was -18.  OMG it was so cold it hurt!  It was in Colorado one winter.  I can't imagine it being much colder.

  2. I have experienced minus four recently, that I know of for definite.
Although we had some big freezing moments in the early sixties when I remember, before we had central heating, when the windows inside my parents house froze solid all day and night for ages!  We made great pavement slides as kids then....hmmm?  Now you've got me thinking Guido.  Lol!   Jeanie

  4. A girl who worked for me came from Siberia. Her mother still lives there and she used to phone her and tell Larissa that it was minus 60 outside. I asked if it got hot in summer and she said their summer lasted four weeks when it would be around 65F! No wonder the poor girl moved over here! Brrrr! Jeannette xx
