The year 2007 is the Highland Year of Culture, of which the logo sits in my sidebar. The year was kicked off in Inverness tonight, and is the prequel to a year-long series of events across the north and west of Scotland. One of the highlights will be the Royal National Mod at Fort William in October, but dozens of events are planned all through 2007.
