A tropical cyclone has formed in the Indian Ocean, which does not appear to threaten land. There is one ship out there that I am concerned about, the CSCL Fuzhou. When I plotted the position of cyclone 10S on this website, she came up in fairly close proximity. Her weather reports did bear that out, with winds of 31 knots at 1800 GMT today. The course of the Fuzhou takes her on a direct collision course with the cyclone as it makes south.
I'll check during tomorrow to see whether she's weathered the storm; I have emailed the company.

Please God! May all on board stay safe and sound and able to ride out the storm. Jeanie
