It's pouring with rain and blowing a gale. Our ferry battled across to Ullapool this morning, but will not return until 8pm tonight at the earliest. All Outer Hebrides ferries are off this lunchtime, and one of our guests was due on the Berneray to Leverburgh service. With the galeforce winds we have going at the moment, I cannot see that happen. Our lonely outpost North Rona is being buffeted by 72 mph winds right now. Nice one.
Apart from a break tomorrow, we should hold on to wind and rain ALL WEEK.
