A local statement for Jacksonville, FL, was issued half an hour ago by the NHC. It also contains information on the nature of the subtropical storm, which is important to read, because Andrea behaves differently from a purely tropical system.

I saw this on the news today...called one of my Uncles, who lives in the area of Fl. Thanks for posting this...will keep tabs on him and the weather. Looks like things are coming early in the hurricane area...or tropical storm seen. Have a great week...still looking forward to all your photos...take care.
