Subtropical depression Andrea is still around - but only as a remnant low, which lacks the features of a tropical weather system, such as thunderstorms and very high winds. Nonetheless, the NHC has issued a Special Tropical Disturbance statement for Andrea. A reconnaissance plane will investigate on Saturday.
