There are indications that a tropical depression could form south of Hispaniola. At the moment, it would seem this system will head west into the western Caribbean and turn into a hurricane. Although options exist for "90L" to veer north into the USA, these preclude the system turning into a hurricane, as it would run out of water. Will keep an eye open.

We just came through almost 3 days of torrential rains & winds...I am happy to see some sunshine for a change.
