Two tropical cyclones formed overnight. One is sat in the Arabian Sea, east of Somalia, and will slowly intensify. It is more than 800 miles from land at the moment, so no threat at this point in time.
Tropical depression 16 formed in the Caribbean last night, and it's dumping vast amounts of rain on Haiti, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Its future course will take it across Cuba, then make a dogleg northeast into the Bahamas. Great uncertainty there, also with regards to its strength.
