Tuesday 16 October - by train to Inverness

Following our weekend in Glasgow, the train departed Queen Street station at 10.10 for Inverness. It was a through service, calling at Stirling, Perth and stations to Inverness. There was some cloud and rain in the Highlands, and a temperature drop of about 5 degrees.

  1. Looking back through the pictures of the last several entries, I'd say you were as good as a tourism bureau!  They so make me want to go there and see the hills, lanes and cobblestone streets!  -  Barbara

  3. I am amazed at the clarity of the photos Guido, considering they were taken through the train window.  It was mighty clean too!  Lol!
    What spectacular views.
Thanks for the trip.   Again I was in awe of Scotland.  It is so beautiful!
