This is a chain of outdoor equipment stores across northern Britain, which has had to call in the administrators. I was very surprised about that, but they claim that the current changes in the climate had something to do with it. Nevisport started life in Fort William (anyone who ever came off the train there and walked into the town's centre) will have walked past the shop there - pictured above. Stores in Inverness and Glasgow have been closed, and the remaining 91 staff across the network are working to keep the business afloat.
Its a crying shame when stores shut through no fault of there own.
