Hurricane update - 4 October (II)

This is the latest forecast for Typhoon Krosa, pictured above, and it looks like it will make a direct hit on Taiwan on Saturday afternoon, local time. At 06/06Z (that means 0600 GMT on 06 October), the storm will make landfall with winds of 115 knots, gusting to 140 knots. This equates to 130 mph gusting to 155 mph. I'm trying to monitor the Taiwanese warnings, and they haven't cottoned on to the latest diversion by this typhoon. Tropical cyclones are notoriously unpredictable, and this one has taken the much-feared wobble south. I'm not looking forward to the news from East Asia on Sunday.

PLEASE RELAY
