Royal National Mod - 2007

The 104th edition of the Royal National Mod will be opened on Friday in Fort William. This year the celebration in competitions of Gaelic music and culture will be held in Lochaber, of which Fort William is the main town. Click on the logo to access the website. I attended the 2005 edition, which was held here in Stornoway. Last year, the Mod took place in Dunoon, next year it will be in Falkirk.

  2. The picture with Stornoway town hall is lovely, it looks like a beautiful city.  I noticed all little cars in the parking area. Here in the US you would see more trucks & SUV's than cars.  It sounds like a nice event.
