I'm glad the Classical Corner feature has gone down well, although I appreciate that a pop-band is slightly out of remit.
An accident on a ferry on the River Nile in Egypt has left 16 people dead, after their minibus slid off the craft and into the water. Accidents on public transport in Egypt are common, as there is little regulation, apparently.
After the UK government lost data on 25 million child benefit claimants, and on 3 million learner drivers, the scandal has expanded into the NHS. The following 9 NHS trusts have lost data on patients:
City and Hackney (London)
Bolton Royal Hospital
Sutton and Merton
Sefton Merseyside
Mid-Essex Care Trust
Norfolk and Norwich
Gloucester Partnership Foundation Trust
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells
East and North Hertfordshire

Guido, unfortunately something like this happens far too frequently in the States. I'm of the opinion that sooner or later we will all be comprmised. Computers save time but are very dangerous to store personal info in. I work the the Fed Govt here. Our pc's get compromied quite a bit. Scary. Chris
ReplyDeleteIt's the same here...private & sensitive informations seems to go missing frequently. Something has to be done so sensitive information remains secure. Linda in Washington state
