Stormforce winds

Winds are increasing at the moment, with winds of force 10 at the Butt of Lewis. Windspeeds of 56 mph, gusting to 90 mph according to the latest reports. The shipping forecast warns of violent storm 11. Bit of a breeze.

    Batten down the hatches.  Very still here, quite mild and no sign of the fog that is plaguing some of the airports.  They say rain for Christmas Day.

    I would classify winds of that speed as a little more than a breeze!
