Sunny day

Not a cloud in the sky today, and actually we had the highest temperatures in the country. As I type, the village of Altnaharra on the north coast of mainland Scotland is reporting a temperature of -8.8C, 16F. We're at +1.4C. Very, very cold night in prospect, with a forecast minimum of -11C, 12F. I took the above pictures this afternoon, as I went for an amble round the bay.

  2. Hello Guido. Firstly I would just like to say a big Thank You for your kind comment.  I was absolutely stunned to come home to 19 emails! lol. I am overwhelmed at everybody taking the time out to post a comment on my journal Almost 40! It's the best thing I have ever done on aol. Secondly, I'm sympathising with anyone who is freezing, as I must surely have turned blue by now with typing away in here for hours. Your pictures are gorgeous.  Thanks Again. Pam xx

  7. Picture #4 is quite stunning Guido.  I'm so glad you zoomed in on the dinghy sitting in the sunlight  reflections from the house windows along the shore.
I liked the close up of the Arnish lighthouse too.
I enjoyed my visit this morning.  A lovely way to start the day.
    Ta muchly!

  8. Love the pictures, the ones of Newton across the bay are very good, also like the one with the seagull in it, they'll all good.  It is raining here this morning, no sun coming up that I can see.  Breezy and showery is our forecast.  Now one hour from here up in the cascade pass it is snow and lots of it lately, snow people are very happy.  Joni
