Monday afternoon

A wet and miserable afternoon, with lowish temperatures and not much happening.

On Friday, a fisherman was airlifted from his boat, 170 miles northwest of Lewis, when he sustained injuries in a fall.

Meanwhile, I'm monitoring the AIS-website and am expecting the Coastguard tug Anglian Sovereign in port here by 3.30pm; it's now 2.40, and the vessel is off the coast of the district of Lochs, some 12 miles south of Stornoway.

Tomorrow should see some gales, and more on Thursday.

  1. We have very strong winds here Guido, it sounds nice from indoors but not much fun being out in it! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
