Beat the spammers

... and help digitising books. You're probably familiar with the distorted snippets of text that you're supposed to decipher (even I have difficulty at times) in order to register for something. reCaptcha offers the same sort of service, but does so in conjunction with a program for digitising books. Now that's what I call clever.  I have filled these boxes in not really understanding how they work.  I wish we could all use this technique in entering each other's journals on AOL.  I can get loads of spybots to delete once I have visited other folks journals.  Its a nuisance!  Luckily I have a good spyware  programme which stops them.
    I am a rare internet browser so I presume I get these spybots from journal reading.
