Rant

Morning all. I'm going to start off with a venting of the spleen. It's bad enough having to put up with advertising on the blogs and every other part of the damn AOL service, what really p's me off is the length of time it takes load all the bloody advertising. I'm having to wait until the cows come home for milking before the page is there. It is also taking an eternity before I am logged in. It appears to me that AOL has a higher priority on loading its advertising than providing me with the service that I am privileged to pay £15 a month for.

  1. The cat seems to express your feelings nicely this morning, Guido!  I hope things move faster for you on here as the day goes on.

  5. I might as well be on dial up the length of time it has been taking my pages to load.  I've been moaning about this for ages now!   Its not funny and I too will vent my spleen on here along with you.(If you don't mind Guido)  AOL sucks!   Big Time!
I can't remember the firm that took them over recently but they couldn't care less about the users really.  All they want is the revenue from the advertising.  They are making changes that have affected the quality of their product.  I have threatened to pack up and go somewhere else but I'm told its worse elsewhere.
I double double the cat's attitude to AOL.  WITH KNOBS ON TOO!

  15. Actually, considering I'm on dial-up and using a prehistoric computer my pages don't do all that bad.  Perhaps they need to upgrade some servers in your area.  -  Barbara

  16. I hope the loading time gets better for you.  I don't think they really make it any longer for my pages to load, though.
