The sun and clouds combined to give a breathtaking display again this afternoon, just like yesterday. Can tell you that the forecast for tomorrow and Monday is abysmal. The weatherchart below may not mean much, but let me tell you that a depression with a central pressure of 935 mbar is a monster; if you see lines close together, it means wind. A lot of it. The UK can expect a windy week; I wouldn't be surprised if the ferry was going to be off until Wednesday or thereabouts.
