Sunny intervals and showers, these frequent and heavy in west, with
snow on high ground, mainly above 300m. Strong to gale southwest winds,
locally severe gales in northwest, gusts 60mph. Maximum temperature 7
°C.
That is our forecast for tomorrow, Monday. We are NOT subject to a severe weather warning, as gusts do not exceed 70 mph. I am not going to be surprised if our ferry is cancelled tomorrow. The Isle of Lewis ferry will not show its nose out of port in anything above force 7.
Want to know if it's cancelled? Have a look on the Calmac Service Disruption page. Calmac (Caledonian MacBrayne) is our much maligned ferry operator. Should you ever visit these islands, then it'll be their boats you're travelling on.

I don't think I'd like to venture out on a ferry in that weather! Stay home and keep warm! Jeannette xx http://beta.journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
