Adobe Reader

If you are using Acrobat Reader, you are strongly advised to upgrade to version 8.0. This is available as a free download from the Acrobat site. There is a major security flaw within version 7.0, which is no longer present in version 8.0. Full background story here.

  1. Thanks, I did do what you suggested and sent that info on to both Ken and my daughter. Helen

  2. Thanks, Guido!   I just downloaded 7.0 before Christmas.  I usually don't have a need to view PDF files but the US Govt. exclusively puts all their forms in PDF format.  I needed to open and print a form...grrr.  I think PDF's are a pain in the butt anyway but I will remove and download the 8.0.  Chris

Thanks for the heads up on this.  When I read this post last night, I went right over to the Adobe site and updated to version 8.0.  I would never have known about the security risk had I not read about it here.
